Far back as I can remember I've been consumed by figuring out how things work. I remember being flabbergasted (yes, flabbergasted) that images could show up on a computer screen because of silicon and electricity and other things challenging for a small child to comprehend.

No big surprise then that I eventually found my way back to this curiosity in my professional life. Actually, you could say I've become a bit obsessed with certain things—mostly with how startups grow. (And fractals and power laws and j-curves, but one thing at a time.)

That's why, among other reasons, I feel very fortunate to be currently working as a fractional CFO for award-winning seed-stage biotech, cleantech, and advanced materials startups.
